Hello everyone!
I thought I'd start doing more journals here on deviantart, and a question popped into my head! Many of you probably have stories in your head, possibly characters and worlds you've never really told much about or just keep them to yourself? Something you'd hope to write a book about, maybe draw a comic or something like that? Do you know what I'm talking about?
I myself certainly have many stories and worlds and universes in my mind. These three here are good examples, they're probably the biggest and most complex stories I have (I have others too though):
I personally try to bring them out by drawing, but I've also written little texts about them, especially from my story "Niittäjä" (=Reaper) - almost... f-five pages, woo (shhh that's a lot for my laziness)...
I should draw more of them, and I want to, too! Personally I reeeeally like to see other people's characters and stories and original creations, and I believe others think that too! So if you have some stories in you mind, don't be afraid to put them on paper and show to people!
So, as I asked, do you have a story or two in your head? If so, what are they? Do you have pictures of them in your gallery? Are you like me and you keep getting new and new ideas for characters and stories even though you already have more than enough to start with, khaha?

Again with the art theft
Edit: The original artist has been informed, so I don't think there's need for that from multiple people! Wanted to say just in case, so the original artist is not spammed about the same thing, haha. Hhhh, okay, @ARTishchenko who tried to sell a design with a straight up copied head from someone else’s artwork didn’t change or delete it, just posted it again I guess and has now blocked me. I tried to explain that copying/using as reaaaaally heavy ”reference” even a part from someone else’s artwork and design without permission and trying to sell it is wrong, but apparently it meant nothing. I don’t know what I should do, other than inform others so they don’t buy a design that has a blatantly copied part. ´__` Original artwork: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/vVy1D And I can’t link the adoptable since they blocked me, but it’s in their gallery.
Species idea
I thought I’d start to develop these species! I’ve had this concept for a while and I guess I’ve showed some sketches of them before. I don’t know how clear these sketches are, but they’re basically a mix of barn owl, cat and deer. I don’t have lore for them yet, but here are some design tests. I imagine them being timid forest dwellers, kind of half mythical creatures, who are seen very rarely and are believed to bring luck and fortune if you happen to come across one! I kind of want to add some insect type elements to them, like maybe they live in a hive and have a queen and different jobs based on their anatomy. Or they’re born as caterpillars and then turn into a cocoon and emerge as these fluffy critters?¿ Dunno! What do you think? Would you want a character like this? Do you have some ideas for their lore etc.?
Experimental Commissions - CLOSED (2/2)
About
I got an iPad and Procreate, and I'm testing things out with it. Since I'm experimenting with it anyway, I thought I'd open a few commission slots for experimental style artwork!
These commissions will be based purely on my artistic vision (however I will read the character's description of course) and as I said, experimental, so the styles may be very different from each other.
The price is 50€ and payment is via PayPal. (My PayPal email is pauliina.kaarin@gmail.com)
For extra 5€, I can send you the time lapse video of the artwork!
Payment is upfront. I will give you the artwork when I've received the payment.

This might be old but I want to get this comment out there. I make up this persistent story in my head whenever I'm bored and it's all the same characters every time and it carries on and on.
The thing is, I can't put it in a novel because some of the characters i have are stolen from books and/or movies and modified so I like them more...
And it is too lame to make art of or put into a story anyway.
But I promise I'll try.
